Teamed with Sienna Systems, H2K will provide IBM Mainframe z operating system (z/OS), z virtual machine (z/VM), storage, configuration, performance management, network system software / programming technical services, and release management support to Defense Information System Agency (DISA) Defense Enterprise Computing Center (DECC) located in Mechanicsburg, PA. DISA is a key organization in the Department of Defense’s (DoD’s) convergence to a standard operating environment (SOE) for IBM Mainframe z/OS, z-Linux, and z/VM operating systems, as well as for the daily operation of mission critical DoD automated applications systems.
H2K supports DISA Mainframe Systems Support Section (SEL141), a sub organization of DISA, which creates and maintains the Release Management Factory (RMF) to provide standard third party software to the DECCs. The centrally managed executive system software suite is comprised of IBM Mainframe operating systems and IBM-compatible system software and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) application and utility software products. Multiple DoD facilities and mission critical applications depend on these products for day-to-day operations. Specifically, we install, test, customize, implement, and integrate of new releases and upgraded software versions as well as provide application and technical support.
